I haven't made one-page designs before, but I was somewhat familar with the concept. I'm not exactly a level designer, and my art skills are kinda rusty, so I just created a general layout together with ideas for gameplay in the level.
I decided to create a nonlinear logic puzzle kind of level rather than a simple platformer. I feel like it will make for a more interesting challenge implementation-wise. The main idea revolves around pushable boxes and pressure plates, and each of the three sections has a different take on the puzzles. Importantly, there's one unifying game mechanic, so it doesn't feel too arbitrary or complicated. The puzzles themselves shouldn't be too difficult either, as 2D platformers such as 2D Game Kit aren't exactly designed for puzzle solving.
Outcome: A level one-page design draft
